Now iOS 5 has something similar to what Windows Mobile had for years: text shortcuts.
I used to use the My Texts feature of Windows Mobile a lot, for those who don't know what that is, it's a shortcut menu from which you can enter frequently-used phrases quickly.
Now iOS5 has Shortcuts, you enter a couple letters and a space and it expands.
However, they really didn't provide enough, so you have to add them in. I think Android has this but don't remember what it's called. Blackberry has text shortcuts.
Anyway, I want to add some but am having a blasted mental block on this stuff the past few days.
What ones do you use most often on your device? Or what have you added to your new iOS5 device? This could really be a feature for speed improvements where using a tiny keyboard or touch screen.
Android probably lets you share them through Google, but iOS is like BlackBerry or Windows Mobile in tha they stick to your device and your iCloud backup.
Anyway, if you've been adding them, share what you use: it'll no doubt help the rest of us masses out here ...
